Northampton Male Voice Choir is one of the country's leading male voice choirs with a busy list of engagements throughout the year. Under the leadership of Musical Director Stephen Bell, both the main choir and NMVC Lite strive for the highest standard of performance and consistently perform to sell-out concerts around Northamptonshire and beyond. The dedication of the members and the muscial leadership team is clear and the choir raise money for charity through their work. In 2024 it raised thousands of pounds for Protate Cancer UK. There are more titles by Iain available from the Danetre Music catalogue. Owned and run by proprieter, Chris North, himself an accomplished player, conductor, composer and arranger, Danetre has been publishing Iain's music for some years for which he is very grateful.
Iain's titles include distinctive arrangements such as the folk song Black is the Colour of My True Love's Hair and Irving Berlin's Blue Skies. Solo items include Adagio from Mozart's Clarinet Concerto arranged for Soprano Cornet, Don Maclean's And I Love You So for Trombone and a traditional variation solo based on The Keel Row for tenor horn.
Other concert items include original works such as Eclipse which was a finalist in the European Young Composers' competition in 2002 and a great march called True Freedom which was written for Salvo Brass for the Whit Friday marches in 2007. For ten-piece ensembles there are five volumes of arrangements, ranging in difficulty known as The Decibels Collection.
